My Kroger trip--December 29, 2010

First off, I just want to mention that I am a full blown Kroger shopper. I feel that the best deals are found there.  But, I only shop there for my stockpile items, like those shown in the pictures below.  I shop at Meijer for my meat and produce.  I really like Meijer, BUT they only double up to $0.50, ((which can still make for some pretty awesome deals)) whereas my Kroger, here in Michigan, doubles up to $1.00! This makes a lot of items FREE!

 

 Pictured above is everything I came home with, minus a gallon of milk, Tennessee Pride Sausage Gravy, Cascade Action Pacs, and GE light-bulb that are not pictured. My total before coupons was $164 ((this was including taking off $24.00 for the P&G $4.00 off when buying participating products, I was able to snag 6 of these, or 24 participating products.  If you have no idea about these offers, ask! ))...after my coupons the total was only $11.45!!

• Quaker Oatmeal ((in back)) $1.99. Used $1 off one coupon-FINAL COST=FREE+ $0.01 moneymaker!
• 2 Pantene shampoos ((Large bottle!))-$4.99.(($9.98)) Used 2 $1 off one coupons + $1 off two. FINAL COST=$3.98 ((see below))
• Pantene shampoo ((smaller bottle))-$3.69. Used FREE coupon when purchase 1+$1 off one. FINAL COST=FREE +$2 moneymaker!

FINAL COST= $0.18...that's only $0.09 each! ((I have found that Kroger allows you to stack coupons with their custom coupons! SO KEEP THEM!))

OOOH!!! BUT, we're not done yet!!! I hadn't mentioned that Kroger allows you to download coupons right to your Kroger card.  Go to Kroger.com and register your card! This will save you TONS of money!! They also allow you to stack coupons on top of these! WHOA! That means MORE FREE STUFF!!! Lets see what I was able to do...

$2 off one Puffs 3 pack. FINAL COST=$0.79! That about $0.37 each!
$4 off 2 Pantene products. FINAL COST=FREE+ $0.02 moneymaker!
